Less is more, for the pets we live with
New York, 2025
LuPetz began in New York in 2025, at home with a cat and a dog who have been part of the family for five years. Looking for collars for them, we kept finding the same two things: old-fashioned designs, or loud ones covered in prints and slogans. Neither looked like the way we live.
Less is more
Our founder comes from product design, and the ideas behind it shape LuPetz too: less is more. The quiet clarity of Apple, the honest forms of the Bauhaus. Every line has a reason to be there, and nothing is added for show.
Back to the essentials
So we made the collar we wanted: one clean line of Italian full-grain leather, lined in the same leather, edges stitched by hand, a stainless steel buckle. Nothing else. It is made to be worn every day, and it softens with wear.
A small piece of nature
People have always liked wearing natural stones: a ring, a pendant, a bead on a bracelet. Each one is shaped by nature, so no two are alike. Our pets are family, so we gave them one too: a single small stone on the collar, worn like a piece of jewellery.
